Ride's 2011-12 DH2 2.6 Wide Snowboard – Mike Aho’s surreal creations of discontent and nostalgic comedy provide a suiting façade for Ride’s signature style, and represent the sixth of seven limited editions snowboards introduced over the past three seasons.

For the best in freestyle antics, the DH2.6 from Ride features the latest Hybrid Twin board profile. Offering primo response, pop and landing stability, this unique twin shape utilizes micro-camber beneath the feet with a slight rise in the tip and tail for catch-free riding. Complete with all the key ingredients for a true Ride masterpiece, the DH2.6 also features Slimewalls, Pop Rods 2.0 and Membrain top sheet.

Slime Walls 85a
Rides exclusive Slimewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may Ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

Hybrid Twin
This twin shape features micro-rocker in the tip and tail and a level micro-camber zone between the feet.

Pop Rods 2.0
Ride's Pop Rods give already fun and playful boards the added liveliness to set them apart from the competition. Using strategic placement in the boards tip and/or tail, this technology adds pop without the stiffness generally associated with snappy boards. Made up of flat carbon rods that wrap a urethane slime-core, Pop Rods have carbon for massive pop and a slimecore to smooth out the landing.

Membrain Top Sheet
Weighing less than half of traditional plastic top sheets, Membrain maintains a smooth feel by infusing urethane into fabric. Along with pushing limits in the world of lightweight, this process also allows us to push the boundaries when it comes to graphics by utilizing the textures and aesthetics associated with a variety of fabrics.

Steel Edge
Cleave Edge, Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.

Ride's single piece of steel wraps the entire perimeter of your board for the best delam protection around.

Glass
Hybrid Glass, Triaxial on top, biaxial on base, balanced torsion and stiffness for better response with speed.

FUSION BASE
Fusion 4000, More durable, harder and faster than extruded and is the fastest base material known (sintered).
